Psalters

When head psalter Scott Krueger describes his band as a religious vocation, you'd do well to take him seriously. He means it. Krueger has set a lofty goal for himself, aiming to create psalms for the current age, a goal he aims to meet accompanied by a wildly eclectic group of like-minded musicians. The psalters begin with elements of mid-eastern and Indian music and blend those elements with strong percussion and a healthy indie rock sensibility. We are excited to have the Psalters at YouthQuest...performing on the Main Stage and Acoustic Cafe. They will challenge you to experience God through both the lyrical depth and intense rhythms. Renee Durbin - Acoustic Cafe

Renee Durbin can be described in one word...smooooth. She is one of our own BICers from the Atlantic Conference. Renee is leading the Acoustic Cafe and doing a little of her own music as well. You will definitely love her intense lyrics and heavy rhythms. Renee would love you to get involved in the life of the Acoustic Cafe. Come to YQ prepared to share a song, a poem or a story in an atmosphere of laid back coolness.

Team WordPlay is a comedy/drama ministry team formed by Ryan O'Quinn and Chris Woolsey who are Los Angeles based professional actors. When not appearing in films, TV shows or commercials, they are committed to traveling around the country providing top quality, Biblically-driven skits, improvs and sermons to churches and youth groups!

Jeff Goring - Breakdancer

Returning to YQ this year is one of our favorite guests...Jeff Goring. He is an incredible breakdancer with moves rarely seen live. He also has a passionate walk with Jesus and loves to talk about how God is working in his life. He will be involved in many parts of YouthQuest from breakdancing on the main stage to teaching a breakdancing seminar. You will love this guy!

Manafest

Following on the heels of the internationally acclaimed Glory, Manafest returns with a new mindset, refreshed style and a powerful arsenal of songs aptly titled, Citizens Activ. "The record is about people taking action in their own lives. We need to be inspired and active in chasing our dreams". Worship Artist - Freddie Colloca

We are excited to announce that Freddie Colloca from Miami is going to be our worship leader at YouthQuest 08. Freddie is a Brethren In Christ Youth Pastor and musician.

If you haven’t heard the name Freddie Colloca (“ko-yo-ka”) before, then you have no idea what you’ve been missing. Freddie has spent the better part of his life stirring-up the people of both the Spanish and English speaking worlds with his music and his passion for God.

An Argentinean born and Miami raised Pastor’s son, Freddie has spent his life immersed in music. From his father’s ministry to the largely Hispanic Hialeah neighborhood where Freddie grew up, the sounds of all genres of music echoed and burned their way into his heart and his soul. Is it any wonder that by the age of 14 he was already playing the keyboards in his church’s band?
